As our planning ramps up for our regional conference in May, we have put together this outline to assist with your own planning. Please take note of possible choices of how to travel to Kingston, where to stay, and some recommendations on where to eat!
Venue
All conference sessions will be taking place in Theological Hall. If you are driving around campus, it is located at 10-14 Founder's Row. If you are walking around campus, it is located on Professor's Walk. You can view the building on Google Maps here. If you are coming from the bus or train station, see the sections below on getting to Theological Hall.
Transport
The best options for travelling to Kingston are driving yourself, taking the bus, or train (VIA rail). If you take the train or bus, see below for some directions on how to get from drop-off point to the conference

Directions from the Kingston Bus-terminal to Theological Hall:
- Exiting the station, Turn Left on John Counter Blvd
- Take the first right onto Division Street
- Continue on Division until you reach Union Street, - if you are in a cab you may exit here and walk straight down 5 field Company Lane to the back of Theological Hall.
- if you need to park your vehicle, turn left on Union.
- Take the first right onto Arch Street.
- Take a second right on Stuart Street - and keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming entrance for underground parking. It is located on your left, just before University street.
- Congratulations! You are now on campus! Exit the parking garage and turn right, Theological Hall is the big round building waiting for you to arrive!
Directions from VIA to Theological Hall :
- Exiting the station, Turn Right onto John Counter Blvd until you reach Portsmouth Avenue
- Take a right on Portsmouth Avenue, and continue until reaching Princess Street
- Take a left on Princess Street and Continue to Sir John. A Macdonald Blvd.
- Take a right on Sir John. A Macdonald Blvd.
- Continue on Sir. John A. Until reaching Johnson Street.
- Turn Left on Johnson street
- Turn Right on Barrie Street
- Turn Right on Stuart Street.
- If you are in a cab, you can exit here and walk up Founder’s Row (right next to the FryWay) to Theological hall. If you need to park keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming entrance for underground parking. It is located on your left, just before University street.
- Congratulations! You are now on campus! Exit the parking garage and turn right, Theological Hall is the big round building waiting for you to arrive!

For the Conference:
The Parking Garage beneath Nixon Field, is conveniently located next to Theological Hall where our conference is being held. The Parking Garage entrance is on Stuart Street, where there may be limited free parking available.
General:
Available parking lots and accessible spots are displayed on the city’s HonkMobile app. Other on-street parking will not be listed by Honk.

Places to Stay
Gordon Center: A block of rooms have been booked off at the Gordon Center, right on the Queen’s campus, for check-in Friday and check-out Sunday. Please note that while this block has been reserved through the conference, all housing arrangements must be made directly through them. Guests must call the main reservation line at 613-533-2221 to reserve under the group rooms block. You will need to provide the group reservation #54855 - School of Religion to be linked to the group at the preferred rate. Guest must book by April 14, 2023
