The June edition of the Reading Religion newsletter was published recently. Reading Religion is an official publication of the AAR, and highlights new books and reviews from scholars across the academy.
EIR highlights in this edition include reviews of Sharday C. Mosurinjohn's book The Spiritual Significance of Overload Boredom, and The End of Religion: Feminist Reappraisals of the State, co-authored by Naomi Goldenberg and Kathleen McPhillips.
Reading Religion is always seeking reviewers for recently published works, including two from members of our region: Postsecular History: Political Theology and the Politics of Time, by Maxwell Kennel, and Rethinking Christian Martyrdom: The Blood or the Seed? by Matthew Recla.
To recognize Pride Month, Reading Religion has also assembled a list of suggested titles, which you can check out here: Pride Month Reading.
If you have a book or a review coming out soon, please let us know so that we can share it with the region!
